Show LA 2026: Todd Hido: Todd Hido
1933 South Broadway, Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90007
Todd Hido will also be giving a talk followed by a book signing on Saturday, February 28th at 2 pm.
For over 25 years, Hido has crafted deeply atmospheric narratives through mysterious suburban scenes, desolate landscapes, and cinematic portraits. Despite its title, The End Sends Advance Warning is ultimately a meditation on hope and beauty — and why we seek it so urgently now. For this body of work, Hido traveled from the Hawaiian Islands to the shores of the Bering Sea and Nordic fjords above the Arctic Circle, capturing places that feel at once familiar and unknown, welcoming yet quietly unsettling.
